"I have reduced my intake of painkillers as a result"

About: Good Hope Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was referred to the physio department, and seen within 2 weeks.

The physio listened to my story, took into account the fact that I was already doing yoga and offered acupuncture. I was amazed to receive this on the NHS, with 3 sessions within a month of my first appointment. I have reduced my intake of painkillers as a result!

I am so pleased to note that you received an appointment promptly following your referral, that you have gained good improvement already as a result of your tailored treatment within 3 sessions which has enabled you to reduce your regular pain medication as a result.

I will be delighted to ensure that your kind comments are highlighted to the Therapies Management Team as well as the Lead Physiotherapist who will be thrilled to read your feedback and communicate it to all of the Physiotherapy team who work hard to provide a positive patient experience.

I hope my actions are acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, patient experience is very important to us.
