"Terminal cancer and still not seen oncologist?!"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer at DV. She was sent home with paracetamol and a phone number for the specialist nurse. She was referred to see an oncologist on 21st August and we have heard nothing about an appointment since after much chasing up by the local hospice, my father and specialist nurse . Our lives are on hold my mum is going through mental anguish not knowing if each week might be her last or if she can expect to see Christmas. She doesn't know where her tumour started or how quickly it is growing. We need answers to questions and the oncologist being in annual leave is not an excuse to leave a dying woman desperate for answers!
