"Took my 7 year old there and waited ..."

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead)

(as the patient),

What I liked

Took my 7 year old there and waited two and a half hours to be seen. with my boy in pain. was given a follow up appointment for 2 days later and waited one and a half hours past my allocated appointment time. felt my little boy was not treated properly and will now have to go to gp for further treatment etc. very upset as have usually had good experiences

What could be improved

waiting time, children shd be given some prioprity as do not bear pain or understand it as well. more info was not advised wd be waiting so long. had to run out and top up car park ticket, totally unreasonable

We were very sorry to hear about your experience in the minor injury unit(?), and we take it very seriously. Children do of course take priority, and we would urge you to get in contact with the trust complaints manager (email info@qvh.nhs.uk) so that we can fully investigate your concerns. Thank you.
