"Service Rendered one step beyond"

About: Estuary View Medical Centre

(as the patient),

-Mode of Transport-

My mode of transport has seriously changed.

Since someone above my life has rearranged.

A stroke they say, not of the pleasant kind.

Seems my friends has attack my mind.

Stolen most memories both, short and long.

Restarting one's life, at my age seems wrong.

The journey I took was just to get an X-Ray.

I couldn't believe how with my it would play.

The gauge on my scooter said three quarters full.

I am afraid my friends that was all bull.

By the time I arrived it was reading almost empty.

The panic inside started, then offered a hot cup of tea.

The way they rallied was way beyond me.

If only I could remember the names, of those who gave help.

I was like a lone sea horse adrift in the kelp.

Then rescued by people all with hearts of gold.

My message my friends is we all must grow old.

Taking just one leaf from those whom I met.

Would change all our lives, that's a sure bet.

A big thank you to all those who helped.
