We were involved in a fire on Saturday morning. From phoning 999 and how quickly the services got to us gave us treatment and got to Aberdeen a &e was incredible got seen in resus and got given amazing care, my husband got moved to the burns ward and they have been outstanding to my husband and myself l. We were up on holiday and have done everything and more they could for us both in the most terrifying week of our lives. The doctors nurses and clinic staff in plastics department who have dealt with me and my burns were fabulous. I don’t even have the words to express the care we’ve both received it’s been phenomenal.

Dear The roses

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion. It sounds like an extremely traumatic experience for you and your husband, particularly being away from home.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am really pleased to hear about the prompt response from all of the emergency services and the care that you received both pre-hospital and in hospital.

I would like to pass on your thanks to the ambulance staff who cared for you but would need a few more details to make sure I identify the correct incident. If you would be able to share some more details you can contact me at martin.esposito@nhs.scot

On behalf of the Scottish Ambulance Service, I hope you and your husband get well soon and wish you both well with your recovery.

Take care.

Martin.
