My husband was in hospital from the start of May 2006 and was just recently taken by cancer.
First of all the Oncology clinic is a new, not frightening, but friendly and a reassuring place.
All the staff were excellent. Especially Liz Clark the Macmillan Co-ordinator, she has stayed in touch even now, 3 months since my husband passed away. Was totally beyond her call of duty.
The radiographer Karen, was very helpful, she rang me at home recently, she helped to get things moving, my husband's treatment was sped-up. She also helped in creating a special mask for him to be used during his radiology treatment - thankyou.
Excellent, can't fault anyone.
