During a breast cancer radiotherapy plotting CT last September it was discovered I had a nodule and consolidation on my lung. I was informed of this by telephone in September, and told not to worry. The hospital also advised that they wouldn't do another CT for 12 weeks, this would be in order to look for any changes from the initial CT.
This left me very apprehensive as 12 weeks seemed a very long time to wait, especially as I had only recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. My CT appointment was in December, which I attended.
It is now the first week in February and I have heard nothing from the NNUH. I am presuming that no news is good news. I am still very apprehensive about the results and receiving some form of reassurance from the hospital would put my mind at rest somewhat.
