About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as a service user),

During a struggle with my mental health postpartum during my routine visits, not only did Caroline, my health visitor, act quickly and promptly to help me get the care I needed, but also supported me like an extended family member. During my 6 week check Dr Barr could not have been any better. I truly felt listened to and that she understood how I was feeling rather than telling me how I was feeling was wrong. She checked in with me and made me feel that I could call the practice at any time to speak with not only her but any of the staff. Kirsty, the health care assistant, is also a great asset to the surgery, always smiling and takes time to talk and listen. The reception team get such a hard time, but truly are the best! Cannot fault my GP surgery at all and I am truly grateful for every single one of them.

My Gp practice is Maybole Medical Surgery Dr Adams, Dr Martin, Dr Barr, & Dr Vernon.

I'm grateful to have access to such a great practice.

Again I cannot thank Dr Barr and Caroline the health visitor enough as well as a special mention to Kirsty who will once qualified be a very valued member of any team she joins as a nurse she is totally invaluable!
