"Care centred on mum's wellbeing in the longer term"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Medicine (Wards 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18 & 27)

(as a service user),

My mother was admitted to ward 11 in Royal Alexandra Hospital before Christmas. I was so happy with the care she received there by the nurses, doctors, the occupational therapist, ward domestic staff and even other patients.

They were respectful and kind and worked with us to ensure mum had a great discharge package of care. This level of care and support has been so robust that it has kept mum at home and she is now doing really well.

Annmarie the SCN listened to what I said and communicated this to her staff so the care that was experienced by us was well organised and centred on mums wellbeing in the longer term.

Thank you seems such a small expression of our gratitude but I do thank the staff most sincerely for their excellent care and attention.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us first of all. I will be sure to share this with our teams and to pass on your gratitude. I know your kind words will mean a lot to them.

Our teams work so hard to deliver high levels of patient centred care so I'm really pleased to hear your mum is home and doing really well.

Kind regards

Yvonne McDowall

Clinical Service Manager
