"I automatically fit in for the first time"

About: Ayrshire Hospice

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I am relatively new to attending the Living Well Hub. I have been coming to Centre Stage since October. During this time, I have always felt welcome by the staff and everyone who attends at that time. One thing that struck me was that when I was at the Living Well Hub I automatically fit in for the first time going somewhere new and meeting people. I usually feel the need to put on a brave face or a persona for the outside world and even at times extended family or friends. Apart from my husband as he can pick up straight away if my mood dips or if something is troubling me.

I would like to thank everyone for the kindness and compassion that they have shown me and look forward to spending time with you creating more memories by Making Today Matter.

We are really pleased to hear the you have found the Living Well Hub to be a friendly, welcoming place that allows you to be your true self.

We aim to provide a space for people to get information, support and the skills they need to live well with their illness and we are grateful for your endorsement of this service.
