I had Helen and Agnus looking after me during the urodynamics procedure.
Unfortunately, the catheterization was too painful to complete the test but I really appreciated the care of both ladies throughout. They explained everything thoroughly and really did their best but ultimately they decided to stop due to the pain I was experiencing (which I appreciated as I really wanted to cooperate but it was getting too intense).
I was really disappointed I couldn't get it done and felt bad I'd wasted everyone's time but they continually reassured me that it was no problem, not to worry and something else would get sorted out. They also said that they would contact the Urologist to let him know what happened.
I can't even express how grateful I was/am to be treated with such kindness and respect. I've had several pretty horrible experiences in the past where I've been treated quite badly and roughly during procedures but the compassion, professionalism and care of these ladies really made all the difference to my experience at the clinic, despite the fact it was painful.
Thank you so much for looking after me so well and sorry about the palaver!
