Anything else?
I attended an appointment on Tuesday 2nd July, feeling absolutely terrified about having this procedure, but I need not have worried, the nurses in the room where I went were lovely, they made me feel comfortable, it was as dignified as that can be, and after all the stories of it being painful, I can honestly say it didnt hurt, obviously it was uncomfortable, but the whole way through the nurse next to me was talking to me and making sure I was ok. But most of all I cannot give enough praise to the consultant who carried out the procedure, she is one of the nicest, compassionate doctors I have ever met, I had seen her for the original problem privately, and she then referred me on to the NHS, I then saw her again on Tuesday for this, and she was absolutely lovely, I cannot thank her enough, making me feel at ease and she was so gentle. Also I would like to thank her secretary, I had telephoned her many times, and she was so helpful, I had trouble getting this appointment sorted out, my GP surgery got knowhere, but when I spoke to them, within ten minutes she had made the appointment for me, she was great. I never have to attend hospital, thankfully, but I have nothing but praise for the way I had been treated in the clinic. I would just like to thank the staff and especially the doctor. Yours Gillian Lucey
