I would just love to give some excellent feedback. I came to A&e on Monday night after the advice of NHS111 due to severe stabbing pains in my stomach and side. From the moment I walked into A&e the staff were so helpful and as cheerful as they could be in a very busy department. It was an extremely long waiting time but that was no fault of the staff. During my wait they did my observation regularly the provided me with pain relief and were always available to ask anything I was unsure about, It was decided I was to be admitted in.
I was first taken to the surgical assessment ward and had to be isolated due to a positive covid test. Every member of staff I met whilst there went above and beyond they were helpful friendly and happy to explain anything I was unsure of. They would just pop in and ask if I was ok if I wanted a drink or anything I felt so poorly so seeing a happy caring face was a blessing.
On ward 19, every member of staff on this ward has been amazing all going above and beyond to ensure I have everything I need.
I feel awful as I can’t just go and get myself a cup of tea but when I buzz and ask they come with a smile a chat and are more than happy to help. These nurses and doctors don’t get the praise they deserve thank you to everyone I have had the pleasure to meet whilst here you are all doing an awesome job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
