My Dad, was taken to the above for blood tests and a brain scan recently. He was accompanied by my Mum. Although he waited for a long time to be treated and sent home, all of the nursing and ancillary staff were really lovely and very kind, making sure that my parents, who were understandably anxious, were kept informed, and also really well looked after - they were both offered food and hot beverages as they were there for circa 8 hours.
The young doctor who attended to my Dad was called Megan - she couldn't have been more patient, empathetic and understanding - a real credit to her profession and to NHS Lanarkshire. She went the extra mile to help explain the diagnosis/outcome of the scan and blood tests. Thanks to all for making a very difficult and stressful situation so much better with your humanity and kindness.
