Absolutely blown away by the excellent care that my husband has received at the Letham Ward, Cameron Hospital, Fife. In a few short months they have exceeded any expectations in all areas of his recovery. Staff are very approachable, and clearly care alot about all of their patients making sure that all needs are met by talking to patients and their family members, constantly attending their needs both medically and emotionally. The professionalism of the nurses shines through in this happy positive environment which I'm sure is a lovely workplace for them. Words cannot express my gratitude, strong leadership from the top and organisation on the ward is amazing. Brilliant communication from the therapists who listen to the needs of the patient and family. This hospital has given us a happy ending to a long 15 month journey where we have seen the best and the worst that the NHS has to offer. Hopefully they will be recognised by the decision makers above and be given more resources to make their job easier. 10 stars from me and my family

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your very lovely feedback regarding your husbands time with in Letham Ward, I will ensure that this is passed onto the Nursing and Therapy teams.

Shirley and her team pride themselves of providing person centred care establishing what is important to each person and their loved ones, working as a team to facilitating them reaching their goal and is great to hear that this is what was achieved for your husband and your family.

The team in Letham are passionate about the care they provide and this has obviously be what you have experienced.

Your feedback is so important to them hearing that their hard work is appreciated and valued.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to tell us about the experience you and your husband have had during this time in Letham ward. It is so good to hear about the professionalism you have described and also the whole teams positivity within the ward. Shirley and the team will be delighted to hear your feedback as am I, the team should be very proud of the care they deliver and it is good to know that families leave our care feeling communication has been "brilliant" and they have been listened to. I wish your husband and your family well for the future.
