"A big sigh of relief on exit"

About: Dorset County Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / NHS 111

(as a relative),

We went to A&E as advised by NHS 111 and the care we received was excellent.

Dr Neale was thoughtful and personable and put us at ease. He explained why we needed to do what we needed to do (scans, etc) and explained why we were then ok to be discharged.

All the staff were excellent, from the nurses, to the paramedics, to the doctors first at triage and then at the bay we were allocated.

It’s also a lovely new emergency wing. Pleased to see investment has been made. A big sigh of relief on exit.

Thank you for taking care of us.
