"Shambolic"

About: Jaunty Springs Health Centre

Phoned for home visit for a 92 year old lady suffering with vertigo. Doctor arrived late afternoon examined her and said he would prescribe tablets which would be ready to collect the following day. The following day I went to the doctors explained what had happened to the receptionist, no record of any prescription ( computer says no) she told me to try the chemist which I duly did , no prescription there, back to doctors, the receptionist said she would have a word with the locum doctor later in the afternoon to see if he could prescribe some medication??? What was the point of the first doctors visit???? So that’s more than 32 hours a 92 year old lady has been without medication??? Suppose it would been beyond realms of possibility that the receptionist could have popped in to the doctors between patients and asked him to sign a prescription??? What would have happened had I not been able to keep going back to the doctors ??? Poor service!!
