"Wonderful team effort - well done folks!"

I have had diabetes and attended the diabetic clinic for a number of weeks. Far too many patients for the staff with lengthy waits every week. Diabetes needs to be cared for in Daisy Hill as well to take the pressure off.

When I had my baby I met the nicest midwives who were kind, caring and selfless. I felt supported prior to delivery, during planned c-section and post delivery. 

The nurses and anaesthetics team were so supportive, flexible and patient. Taking their time to help me through. I was also very grateful that nurses offered to take my baby for feeds and to allow me to sleep as I was quite immobile - this allowed me time to rest. 

Special mention to Sinead, Ursula and Meka who I felt were just fantastic at their jobs and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble. But they were all fabulous and I just can’t recall all the staff names! Wonderful team effort - well done folks!
