I want to share my feedback about the Neurology services in Altnegelvin hospital.
The Parkinson’s nurse I see, Shannon, is very good, she’s very sympathetic and just a really nice person. She is very helpful, I’ve seen her couple of times. I’m no scheduled to see her again for a year now but I can phone her at any time. I can ring her if I need any advice or anything at all. It’s great that I can ring her whenever needed, it’s very helpful. I’ve seen the consultant as well and he was very helpful as well, his name is Dr Dunn.
They talk to you as if you have a brain which is refreshing as I’ve found that some GPs talk to you as if you’re stupid.
But Shannon makes you feel very comfortable and as if you’re the only person there.
"It's great that I can call if I need advice"
