"Great doctors and nurses but horrible reception…"

Let me start off this review by saying that the doctors and nurses at this surgery are fantastic - when you can actually get an appointment to see them that is.

The reception staff at Lea Road are awful and have absolutely no phone manners. They are always abrupt and can’t wait to get you off the phone. Even when giving blood test results over the phone, they are vague and not very helpful but don’t seem to offer an appointment for someone to talk it over with you. The worst of it is though that when you are talking to them, they sigh over the phone. It’s completely off putting and just downright rude. If they don’t like the job, then perhaps they should consider a different career! I would suggest a course in Customer Services or basic phone etiquette asap!
