"MRI scan in the mobile scanner"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat Raigmore Hospital / Radiology

(as a service user),

The staff were very welcoming, listened to my personal situation and tried their best to accommodate me.  I have vertigo and was having a brain/head scan.  Lying on my back is not something I can do and it brings on my vertigo. I would appreciate a recovery area, some outside seating, and a collection point. I am also unsteady on my feet, so would have liked some support with walking.

Dear Lorrst,

Very many thanks for your feedback on your recent Mobile MRI appointment. I am delighted you found the staff welcoming and sympathetic to your situation.

I will feedback your comments regarding a recovery area and outside seating to our MRI Lead, and investigate if this is anything we can do to improve the service for patients in the future.
