"This is a fabulous, caring unit"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was admitted a few times pre and post abdominal surgery so have waited to make sure I didn’t have to visit again.

I was first admitted after diagnostic scans and then again when in discomfort. This is a fabulous, caring unit. I felt looked after and listened to when in. All staff were friendly and understanding, including domestic services at cleaning and mealtimes. Nothing was too much bother.

The medical and nursing teams work so well together ensuring care and plans are individual.  My main treatment was at Glasgow, but Crosshouse very much played a big part in my preparation and recovery.

A credit to NHS A&A. Thank you
