"We found out no one had referred him"

About: New Cross Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

When my baby boy was born we were informed he could have Hypospadias. The day we was released from hospital we waited 10 hours for different people to check this out.

Each time we was told he would be referred to get it check. On every maternity appointment we had at Newcross we asked if he had been referred and every time they said yes. We waited 10 weeks and found out no one had referred him, now we have to wait until August as there are no appointments available to see if we could possibly get one then.

We have been given incorrect information numerous times and my child has been let down.
