I have suffered from chronic uveitis for many years and cataracts in recent years. I regularly attend the eye clinic at Treliske Hospital in Truro. I have always been treated with respect and kindness and the staff are very helpful. On occasions I need to call them for an emergency appointment due to a flareup of uveitis and am always seen very promptly.
Over recent years I have developed cataracts. I have had one eye operated on, it's fantastic I can now see clearly and appreciate the brightness of colours! After a routine appointment about my uveitis with the lovely Louisa, Clinical Nurse Specialist (who has a lovely sense of humor and nothing is too much trouble for her) is arranging for my other cataract to be operated on.
While I would like to say thank you to all the staff in the eye clinic, I would like to also like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to Louise , Clinical Nurse Specialist; Mr Partwardhan, my Consultant for many years and Mr Ali, Associate Specialist Ophthalmologist, who carried out my cataract operation.
"Treated with respect and kindness"
