"Access to web chat for Breathing Space"

About: NHS 24 / Breathing Space (Phoneline)

(as a service user),

I couldn’t access this tonight. Is telephone access more important that webchat? I don’t like talking, I can be recognised through my voice. I need access to a truly anonymous service. Will it get better?

Dear Newbhoy67!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience on Care Opinion. I'm sorry to learn you you were unable to access the webchat functionality for Breathing Space.

At present the Web chat opening times are Monday to Friday between 6pm-2am and 4pm until midday on Saturday and Sunday.

The chat button will not be visible if all available advisors were engaged in chats when you tried to access the service. The chat button will become visible once an advisor is available.

We are constantly monitoring the availability of this service and how are users access it. Your feedback will be passed onto the relevant team. I hope that you are able to use it if required in the future.
