"I was very worried and distressed and he put me at ease"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Plastic Surgery & Burns (wards 45, 47, 48 & 49)

(as a service user),

Dr Gilmore was absolutely fantastic. He explained in detail what was happening to me and why and made a plan of action which was carried out immediately, I was very worried and distressed and he put me at ease .

My surgery was complicated and Dr Gilmore really went above and beyond and in the end I didn’t need skin grafts, I can’t thank him enough and all the team at ward 47 ( plastic surgery )

Thank you
