I was admitted to the Solihull hospital in July for a Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy procedure. I was naturally apprehensive but from the moment I reached the reception area they made me feel very much at ease. The procedures were explained to me and they asked me if I had any questions (which I did) and during the examination I was kept informed as what would happen next. I didn't feel any embarrassment thanks to the assurance of the nurses. I might add there was very little pain.
When I was discharged I was given a letter with all the information of what was found and what is going to happen in the future.
The following morning I received a phone call from the department checking if I was alright and explained was is going to happen in the next few days and was given a direct phone number to ring if I had ANY concerns or questions. (very reassuring)
Thanks to every person that looked after me.
