"Nothing but praise for staff on ward 34"

About: Barnsley Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have been on ward 34 as a trauma patient on 2 occasions now with a infection in my hand and the staff are absolutely brilliant.

They show they care in what they do and also treat patients with respect. They also are easy to approach to talk too and also can have a laugh and make your stay easier.

While I was there they was a sister called Pauline what a star she is and I've nothing but praise for how she is with her staff and patients always made me smile.

Also the team of orthopaedic doctors was brilliant always let you know what was happening and always greeted you in a very nice and happy manner on ward rounds. It just remains for me to say that you all was fantastic and you deserve all the praise you get
