"Each doctor does the opposite to the other"

About: The Neaman Practice

(as the patient),

At the start of first joining the surgery there was already problems and issues. I am on a regular medication that I have been for 23 years. It’s very crucial to my well being. So when I first became a patient there it took this practice nearly a year to obtain my medical records from my previous surgery.

The doctor I was speaking to at this surgery said that they had sent numerous requests for my records so they could issue my repeat prescription. A week went by and another week so I called up to get an update. I was told that the doctor there had sent request after request to my previous surgery for my medical history and records.

I called my previous surgery and they assured me they had not received even one request. So when I called back to this surgery to pass on what was said, I was put through to a new doctor that said there haven’t been any requests sent from their side. So I’d been lied to, it seems.

I missed my antipsychotic medication and my antidepressants for nearly 9 months because of this. It made me very very ill. After this was resolved I still stayed with this surgery because I was too scared to change GPs in case it happened again. That was the first major issue I had.

After that I had many uncomfortable and horrible encounters with your receptionists. I have found them to be very rude, insulting and even sarcastic towards me. I am a polite person, but I feel they still belittled me and spoke to me like I was nothing. About 25 times I have called and waited 19th in the queue, and after 45 minutes waiting I reached 1st in line one of the receptionists picked up the phone and put it straight back down, so I had to call back and wait 29th in the queue. I have been in the waiting room at times and heard the receptionists bad talking and insulting other patients that weren't there.

There is so much more but there’s way too much to be able to fit in to this. If someone could please contact me I’d be happy to explain and answer any information you need.
