I was in an accident and the ambulance, came very very quickly. I had to be transferred to the Accident & Emergency Department of the Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy.
The Ambulance team were very sympathetic towards me. They were very good with me . They managed to keep me calm throughout the journey and I felt I was in safe hands.
I spent a little time in the Accident & emergency Department then a short time in the admission's unit. The staff were great in both areas.
I had a visit to radiology and although I was in a lot of pain I did exactly as they said. They were very good and really understood it was difficult for me as I was experiencing so much pain.
Since moving into ward 33 the staff here are right on the ball they are all lovely.
This is a very busy ward but the staff always take time to stop for a chat This is good for me as I don't have many visitors.
The tea trolley comes around regularly I do look forward to this.
I have met with the Physiotherapist, she gave good instruction and explanation of exercises that I will be required to do to help in my recovery.
I also had a visit for the hospital Chaplain, I really did appreciate this.
To sum up I would just like to say the staff have all been great and the nursing staff here in ward 33 are fantastic.
"The staff are right on the ball"
