"I was treated for Psychotic Depression"

About: Murray Royal Hospital / Functional assessment Ward (Leven Ward)

(as the patient),

I was treated by a very professional and caring Staff and persuaded to finally eat and drink by myself after being fed and drinking through tubes.I believe I was not violent but just being awkward and was finally persuaded to calm down.I cannot remember the first month of treatment but I have found out I had 8 sessions of ECT and these assisted in turning me back to a normal human being. The team of Nurses and Doctors did a wonderful job in treating me and persuaded me to calm down.

I can not thank the Team enough and wish to Donate something to Leven Ward Staff Team Development in a Team Building activity to show my Gratitude.
