"Appointment message"

I got a message from the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust - no use to anyone without mobile reception as the code is sent to a mobile number. Why not have it as an email attachment or within the email?
The message told me that my hepatology appointment is at RCH, Treliske, with the date/time, to use this secure link to see more information, and to enter the user verification code if asked when logging in.
