"The ward has been great the last few days"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Blossom Ward (Paediatrics)

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

We arrived here on Saturday morning.

We have stayed here longer than expected, but the ward has been great the last few days. It is far different to the other wards, with everyone having their own room and toilets. The place is also very clean and tidy. The both of us really like the staff, they are very good with my son, distracting him from what's going on. They have very good communication with us to.

We don't have any complaints so far.

Hello and thank you for your care opinion.

It is great to hear that you had such a positive experience on Blossom. Our facilities are modern which certainly helps to promote comfort particularly during an unexpected and extended stay. Our staff are aware communication is key for all areas of the job and I am glad they were able to provide distraction to your son during which I am sure was a difficult time while he was unwell. I hope he is now feeling better.
