"Very caring and considerate staff"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Daisy Paediatric Ward

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My son is 1 week old and the midwife that came out to the house sent us up to get bloods done and we were called back in and kept on the daisy ward. The nurses have been wonderful. The doctors are very nice. The ward has been very good so far. The staff brought me in a proper hospital bed to make me more comfortable. My experience on the daisy ward has been brilliant so far. The nurses have been so attentive and really kind, making this experience so much easier.

Hello Tersg66

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy!

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback, I am delighted to read that you were impressed with the care received on Daisy Ward, the staff will be overwhelmed with your kind words. It is an anxious time when your baby isn't well so I am delighted that you have been so well supported throughout your stay and that the staff have provided you with a bed to make your stay more comfortable.

I hope your son makes a speedy recovery and I wish you both all the very best.

Kind regards

Jodie
