I have been at Daisy Hill for rehab now for several weeks after having a very bad fall. The staff have all been very good and incredibly kind. They always make sure to get my pain relief as I am very sore at the moment. I have to say that the care I have received on the Stroke & Rehab Ward has been brilliant. They always make sure to explain things very well to me and have a very positive attitude to their work. I couldn't name anyone in particular as they have all been very good and it wouldn't be fair to pick anyone over the other.
The ward itself has been clean and comfortable - the staff make sure that it is kept absolutely spotless. The food has been absolutely amazing, especially compared to years ago when it used to be disgusting. I have managed to sleep well on the ward and there hasn't been too much noise at night. Overall, my experience on this ward has been a very good one and I have no suggestions for improvement.
