"I am content"

I have come in everyday this past 2 weeks since my mother was admitted into hospital. She hasn’t been feeling well and she has an infection somewhere but they can’t seem to figure out where and the exact way to treat it properly. I appreciate how visiting time is so flexible as it means I am not restricted to a certain time and I can sit with my mother for a longer period of time.

She is in a side room so it is nice to have that element of privacy also. The care I have witnessed has been simply brilliant, I feel content leaving my mother when I have to go home. I can see her face light up when staff come in as they are so attentive. She has told me how delicious the food has been, and any time I have been in during meal times… she has loved it. The ward is immaculate for what I can tell, which is no surprise as the cleaners are always busy. My mother will be in for another while no doubt but I am glad she is safe and content
