"Treated with nothing but contempt"

 I suspected my adult child has had autism for most of his life.  We have had the misfortune of being repeatedly dismissed and we are now at crisis point.  A referral was sent in via his GP years ago for the service. We've heard nothing back and have found your reception staff to be very rude! We find the way they speak to people is not right; you'd think working at a place for neurodivergent people would teach them how to respond on the phone.

We have been made to feel unwelcome and if it wasn't for the fact that this was the only service in Sheffield for autistic adults we'd send a referral elsewhere.

Long waiting times and staff who appear ignorant towards the conditions they are treating!
