"Bathroom facilities on ward"

About: Lurgan Hospital / Ward 2

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was transferred over from craigavon hospital to lurgan, so far all the nurses are all alright. The communication is just okay. The facilities are alright, but i think the toilet seat is a bit too low down. I don't hear any disruptions at night on the ward. I wouldn't change anything about my stay, for all i need the ward has it and the care is brilliant.

Dear niamhh1

My name is Louise and I am the Professional Nursing Development Facilitator and Nurse Manager Support in Non Acute Hospitals.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am glad your stay in Lurgan Ward 2 was a mainly positive one and I will share this with all staff.

I am sorry to hear you feel the toilet seat was too low. There are adaptions that can assist with the height and the Ward Sister assures me these are readily available for use at ward level when required. Your feedback has been shared with staff to help improve future patient experience.

I hope you are recovering well and wish you a speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Louise
