"Enniskillen rapid response nursing team"

I attended the Enniskillen Rapid Response Nursing Team for a follow-up re-dressing of a special elasticated bandaging of my leg, toes to thigh. This is to assist in the healing of a chronic, thumbnail-sized wound caused by a brace I have to wear on my leg at the moment.

This was performed by Sarah, assisted by Lorraine, both really skilled nurses, with care and compassion, who were so understanding of my needs. Sarah was quitely spoken and Lorraine a wee chatterbox. Both consummate professionals.

Clearly this was a job which is beyond the skills of us normal folk and boy!, it saved a huge journey and inevitable wait, to one or another hospital, local or further afield. It was performed promptly to fit in with my schedule on a Saturday afternoon. I then went off to complete my shopping visit to town.

The environment was spotlessly clean and bright. I was offered tea/coffee and biscuits.

The nurses were pleasant and helpful and the job was completed with no fuss. I would have no hesitation in being treated by them or the other members of the team. Fantastic service on a very damp Saturday afternoon.
