"Acute Care at home team SHSCT"

About: Enhanced Care / Acute Care at Home

(as a carer),

When my mother became unwell a few weeks ago the paramedic arranged for the acute care at home team to become involved avoiding an admission to hospital. I would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors that visited my mother. The quality of care was excellent and all the staff kept my father and the rest of the family up to date with my mother’s progress and the treatment plan. This is an amazing service providing care in the home, avoiding what would be very stressful hospital admission, for the most valnerable- thank you.

Hello Daughter91a,

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such positive feedback. I am very reassured that NIAS recognized the appropriateness of your mother for our service and that we were able to accept and treat her. Home is definitely a much better environment to recuperate in with the correct service in place.

I hope your mum remains well and I will be sure to share this lovely feedback with the team.

Many thanks,

Yvonne
