"It has completely changed my life around"

About: Children and Young People Services / Child and Adolescent Mental Services

(as the patient),

I attended fitzone for my mental health, it has completely changed my life around, basically saved me from being in a bad sate of mind. I love it so much I have taken up fitness, lost nearly 3 stone, and I am going to get my level2 fitness instructor qualification, so i can work in a gym and eventually be a Personal Trainer (PT) myself.

I have a purpose now in life, I have goals, I feel the best I ever have, and enjoy life so much, this has been such a fantastic experience thank you fitzone.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, it certainly sounds as if the programme has had a positive impact on your life and indeed on your plans for the future.

Our intention when we sought funding for the programme was to improve the overall wellbeing of the young people who attended, including to build their awareness of the ”Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing”, therefore it is great to see that this has been achieved.

I will share your feedback with Sean from The Fitzone Foundation who facilitated the group and also with the staff from across CAMHS who provided support at each session.

Thanks again for sharing your feedback and I am glad that you enjoyed the group.
