Anything else?
My father My father went into Ward 5 on 25 March 2013 for about a month. My father is aged 81 years of age and has Parkinson's. He was poorly with a urine infection and had pressure sores when he went into hospital. The care he received from Ward 5 was very poor. Basically no care and was left and then they have the cheek to label him on leaving as doubly incontinent. Which he isn't, probably double incontinent because wasn't taken to the toilet ever and there was no care. Travelled one day to see him which took me several hours and could not wake him up to say hello to him. Obviously had drugged him up to stop him getting out of bed. Thankly he moved to Upton Hospital who were brilliant with caring and treating my father as a human being. It was a wonder he didn't loose the will to live being on Ward 5, that was my greatest fear.
