About: Melton Constable Surgery

I ordered a prescription weeks ago and in the notes I stated “collection from Melton surgery”. I arrived and said my name - to which they advised I had already collected it?!!! Then decided it was at the wrong place - holt surgery. Instead of then apologising for their mistake, the two ladies behind the reception desk got on their high horses and said it was my fault. I showed them the screenshot of the note from the NHS app from when the medicine was ordered - as this is not the first time it’s happened to me. At the same time I picked up medicine for a family member. I’m a room full of people I was asked how does my family member pay for her prescription to which I said she doesn’t. The lady asks the question again so I tell her she doesn’t because it’s the pill. She then makes me say it again - after the first time u would think that anyone with common sense would check which medication it is. nope. poorly trained staff who don’t know how to apologise. Avoid at all costs
