I attended for my routine 6 monthly appointment. I have a diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 4.
I find Dr Stojakowska attentive and caring. I felt particularly unwell on that day, I had been unwell because of repeat respiratory infections and episodes of shingles. I was feeling very chesty and nauseous.
Dr Stojakowska examined my chest, my legs for swelling, performed other appropriate physical examinations. Dr Stojakowska ordered numerous blood samples and from these I learned that I was also suffering from hyponatraemia and a very low ferritin level, these were referred to my GP for appropriate prescription.
I always feel safe under the care of Dr Stojakowska in terms of my CKD Stage 4 and her approach to my general health and complex diagnoses. The Trust and patients are very fortunate that such a person and consultant is there to look after us. I look forward to my visits with her because of the problems with my kidney disease.
Dr Stojakowska always tries to project positivity, despite the fact that I feel unwell, and her actioning blood samples on that day was reassuring for me. Thank you for your care, Dr Stojakowska.
