My Husband was admitted to Hairmyres Hospital with Gall Bladder pain. he was mobile before his admission. The doctors decided to treat him conservatively with anti biotics. He ended up in hospital for 3 months.
When he was finally discharged he was totally off his feet and we were told he would not walk again. Various aids were delivered to the house to help move him. We then received a visit from the physiotherapist (Ms Benito) she was part of the team at ICST East Kilbride. Contrary to the hospital Physio, Ms Benito said with work my husband could learn to walk again. She attended faithfully every week and would give him exercises to strengthen his muscles. I am happy to say my husband is walking again thanks to the hard work and dedication of Ms Benito. We will be forever thankful to her.
Many thanks.
"Physiotherapist helped my husband get back on his feet."
