"Urgent trip to eye clinic"

Yesterday at lunchtime I visited my optician in Enniskillen about an eye infection that which hadn’t got better with treatment. On examination he found an ulcer. He used a direct dial number to speak to the eye doctor on call in Altnagelvin.

I was offered a 9am appointment for this morning. It took some juggling with work commitments etc. but I was only too happy to attend despite the early start and frosty road conditions. 

Everyone in the clinic was friendly and helpful from the receptionists, nurses and the doctor. Dr McGrath was professional, friendly, kind, reassuring and explained everything very well.

This is an excellent service. Well done everyone.
