I have just read an opinion posted 3 days ago and I couldn’t agree more as this was my experience too.
Arrived for radiotherapy and before even reaching the department and feeling a bit apprehensive of the treatment ahead, my husband and I were welcomed to the car park 6 by Carol, She was just the most cheery friendly lady you could meet and brought a smile to our faces. Well done Carol you are a star and I hope this is conveyed to you. She was the topic of conversation between ourselves and the other patients as to her being a credit to WGH.
I have nothing but praise for the NHS staff who have treated me for some months and my visit to radiotherapy department was my final treatment until my oncology review in a few months.
Again from the reception staff to radiotherapy staff everyone was just so efficient and friendly. I was bit unsure as to the procedure ahead, I needn’t have worried as Alistair explained in detail what to expect he also gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I might have. The radiotherapy staff were just so professional and I apologise for not picking up some of the names of the female radiotherapists but….they were all just lovely.
Thank you again NHS
