"Excellent care and compassion"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Medicine for the Older Adult (Wards 9-12)

(as a relative),

I have a family member currently in w10 and although I haven’t met all staff I have to absolutely mention care assist, Leanne and nurse Simbe for their excellent care and compassion. Not only with our family member but even observing them with other patients where no family are visiting they are just very caring individuals. I’m glad these staff have been involved and feel I have to highlight the quality they are providing in a very busy and demanding environment.

Thank you for all that you do, even in this festive period where we all like to be with our families, still smiling still caring. We appreciate it.

Dear emdub,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Care of the Elderly.

I am sorry to hear that you relative is unwell. I am glad however that Leanne and Simbe are giving them such excellent care and compassion. I am pleased that this also extends to other patients and that they have such a personal approach to care. What a difference this must make on the ward.

I will be sure to pass on your kind words and feedback to Leanne and Simbe who I am sure will be delighted to hear this.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
