"My husband's care"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a relative),

My Husband had attended A&E on a few occasions over the past number of weeks and was met with compassion and care.

I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who made him feel at ease in his final days, special mention to Dr Fulton, Dr Clare (sorry if I didn’t pick the name up right), Nurse Ballantyne and Nurse Cooper.

Unfortunately my husband passed away with us by his side, we will miss him greatly but forever grateful to those who let us have our final days with him.

Hi Stazn44

My name is Victoria McCrory and I am the Assistant Clinical Services Manager for Causeway ED.

Firstly I wish to offer my sincere condolences, I am very sorry for your loss. Thank you for taking the time to leave this positive feedback, particularly at such a difficult time.

I am pleased to hear that the Drs and Nurses were able to help your husband feel at ease, and I hope they were able to demonstrate compassionate care to your family as well. I will ensure that your feedback is shared with all staff within the dept, and senior management as well as those whom you have personally mentioned.

I hope you are keeping well, and we as a team will be thinking about you and your family in the months ahead.

Yours Sincerely

Victoria McCrory
