Anything else?
i attended the hospital for a laparoscopy operation to remove some cysts from my ovary, i was quite nervous when i arrived at the hospital. i was booked in by a nurse on ward 12, she explained everything to me, i was then promptly seen by the team of surgeons who were to carry out my procedure, again, everything was explained to me in great detail, i was given the opportunity to ask any questions. everything was very professional, i had to sign for everything. 2 people came to walk me to the theatre, i was very nervous at this point, the man and woman who were escorting me were really lovely and they made me feel at ease. i then met with the aneathatist, who again, was very caring and made me feel at ease. my after care following the procedure was fantastic. i was in alot of pain and discomfort and the staff on ward 12 were absolutley fantastic. they were so kind and caring, not just towards me, but to all the other women on the ward. i had to stay overnight and was in alot of pain through the night, the staff were so attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. Even the lady who brought the tea trolly round was very polite and lovely. thanks to every single person that had any hand in my procedure and my stay at the BRI, you are all fantastic people, thank you so much.
"looked after very well"
